WINES

Château Le Noble traditionally produces organic wines whose silhouette, character, personality and qualities are those of the men and women of Aquitaine. Elegant Fougue of Aliénor, realistic wisdom of Montaigne, spicy poetry of courtship are found, without excess of imagination in the bottles drawn from the cellars or barrels of the castle.

HISTOIRE

HISTORY

Château Le Noble domain counts thirty hectares of which 16 are planted vines  constituting the vineyard at the origin of the production of its high quality wines since the beginning of the 19th century.

Located in the town of Saint Germain du Puch, halfway between Bordeaux and Saint Emilion, Chateau Le Noble is on the left bank of the Dordogne.  Its vineyards, facing south, are spread over the valleys of a clay-limestone soil with ridges of gravel, particularly favorable to Bordeaux grape varieties.

Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon for reds and rosés. Semillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle for whites. All allowing Château Le Noble to present a range of wines ready to satisfy the most demanding gourmets.
The vines are on average 35 years old. They are the subject of cultural practices at the forefront of current viticultural know-how. Special attention is given to soil treatment, which favors light plowing and natural enrichment during the planting stage. In organic farming since 2013, the property forbids systemic treatment products on the vine. Moreover, the pruning processes are varied according to the grape varieties, aiming for quality rather than quantity.

His studies were complemented by advanced internships in several Bordeaux castles, including a year at the Grand Cru classé Château Rauzan-Ségla appellation Margaux in Médoc.
Thomas Bonnefon, his wife Maria Mercedes and their three children live on the estate and have undertaken the restoration of all the buildings.
They are assisted by a high level team and benefit from the support of an expert oenologist.
